Confidentialty
At EMDR and Trauma Therapy Centre we strictly adhere to the Personal Health Information Act, 2004 and the Ethics and Standards Legislation of our respective Colleges. There are limits to confidentiality when it comes to personal safety. More detailed information is provided in our informed consent or upon request.
All information related to your services are kept in a securely encrypted record keeping service online. We manage information through the use of electronic health record keeping. We utilize Jane Software to maintain security and safety of your digital health records. The data is securely stored and encrypted on a server in Canada.
Cancellation Policy
We Do Not Offer Direct Billing
Each insurance plan varies and offers different coverage levels. If you need coverage for sessions, please reach out to your insurance provider before your initial session to confirm whether your plan includes sessions with a Registered Social Worker, MSW, or Registered Psychotherapist.
