Conceptualization & Treatment of Dissociation

This clinician training course aims to provide theoretical and practical tools and to promote the development of clinical skills in the conceptualization of dissociation, diagnostic considerations and case formulation. Special emphasis will be given to the review of intervention resources (both in stabilization phases and in direct work with dissociative voices and parts), management of somatic symptoms, self-injurious behaviors, as well as therapeutic approach to conflicts between non-integrated components of the internal world, favoring integration instead of splitting.

This in-person training aims to provide theoretical and practical tools and to understand and effectively treat Emptiness, which is one of the most persistent symptoms in BPD and one that increases the resisteance to behavioral change in EDs. Understand what is behind the feeling of emptiness and what it is connected to.
